Virtual reality market

Virtual reality is no longer science fiction. It is fully integrated into our lives and, in the coming years, it will lead to advances that will shape the future.

The virtual reality market was valued at £12.5 billion in 2020. It is expected to grow at a 48.7% compound annual growth rate and reach £133 billion by 2026.

There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has sped up our movement towards doing more and more things digitally. Even after the pandemic is over, this trend will continue and it is certain that the virtual reality sector is going to be a huge part of that. VR allows us to stay connected with physical locations even while we are forced to visit them online. In the future we will see VR used in almost every industry. Wherever it is too expensive, impractical or dangerous to do in person, virtual reality offers the perfect substitute.
